Edward "Ned" Williams provides
real estate advisory services involving investment and development
properties drawing on more than 30 years of industry experience.
Ned’s
areas of expertise include market evaluation and strategic
positioning, economic evaluation, mixed-use development programming
and public sector strategies. He draws on his considerable
involvement in professional and community leadership activities
when evaluating opportunities and developing project strategies.
Ned is a Principal of Vector Real Estate Advisors, LLC which provides
asset management and development consulting services for institutional and private
clients. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Virginia and serves
as Vice President and Managing Broker of commercial and investment real estate
with William E. Wood and Associates. Additional significant experience includes
Olympia Commercial Properties and Development Corporation where he served as
managing broker and participated with the development and operations of business
park properties; Goodman Segar Hogan Commercial (now Advantis Real Estate) where
he served as Director of Asset Management and was responsible for office, industrial
and retail property investment management; Read Commercial Properties serving
as Director of Leasing & Property Management with responsibility for brokerage
activity of institutional and privately owned commercial real estate; and Eastern
International Development Corporation where he served as Director of Property
Management responsible for the operations of industrial and business park properties.
Ned’s professional association involvement include the Hampton Roads Association
of Commercial Real Estate (HRACRE); International Council of Shopping Centers
(ICSC); Urban Land Institute (ULI); Association of Realtors’ Commercial
Real Estate Council of Hampton Roads; Old Dominion University’s Center
for Real Estate & Economic Development.
Ned is active in the community and servers in the leadership of the boards
of the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, Hampton Roads Chamber of
Commerce, and Old Dominion University’s Collage of Science, along with
several community steering committees dealing with economic development issues.
Ned holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration for finance and
real estate from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and an Associates
of Science degree in biological sciences from Lees McRae College in Banner Elk,
North Carolina.
